    • Forward & Backward Links
  • Note: Identification of forward and backward links is extremely important to SIG07 and RESNA website visibility via web search engines. Can you identify, contact and establish such links?
  • Market Research
    • Do AT manufacturers involve consumers in product design?
      • Identification of market needs; design requirements; design validation...
    • What barriers must AT manufacturers overcome when trying to involve consumers?
      • Small distributed populations; access; privacy and confidentiality...
    • Would manufacturers value better access to consumer populations?
    • What role can or should SIG-07 play in this process?

  • Entities the Conduct Market Research
    • AZtech
  • Entities that can provide access to consumers [persons with disabilities]
    • RERC generally
  • Note: It was suggested that organizations could be contacted and asked to provide names for a consumer database and that we could then provide a service to manufacturers by linking them to consumers for product development. Others thought that it would be extremely difficult to get organizations to "contribute" participants (most organizations are very guarded), implement and support the database, and act as broker. It was proposed that we instead identify organizations that have 1) access to consumers or 2) conduct market research. Organizations could then self-identify themselves and be listed on the SIG07 website. The "Market Research" page of the SIG07 site has taken small steps in this direction. Comments on this issue are welcome.
  • Note: SIG07 members are asked to identify market research that can benefit AT manufacturers in product design.

    • Ten credentialing questions
  • Leadership
